Teaching and mentoring students is a crucial part of academic life–doing these things well improves the quality of research and increases our depth of understanding around particular social issues. I think it is important to share teaching resources. So I have put all my syllabi online and almost all of my other teaching materials:
- syllabi – currently being taught; all past courses; graduate; undergraduate.
- handouts – all handouts; mentoring on professional development and planning research.
I have a general statement on my teaching philosophy, which contains examples of how my ideas about what good teaching looks like can be turned into a live curriculum.
