Teaching

Teaching and mentoring students is a crucial part of academic life–doing these things well improves the quality of research and increases our depth of understanding around particular social issues.  I think it is important to share teaching resources.  So I have put all my syllabi online and almost all of my other teaching materials.

I have a general statement on my teaching philosophy, which contains examples of how my ideas about what good teaching looks like can be turned into a live curriculum. And to help advance social science teaching and research post-covid, I made an open self-paced online course on research methods.
